Learn 2 Golf Program
The Rosebud Country Club’s Annual Learn 2 Golf Program has been carefully designed for beginners and individuals with limited experience in golf, providing a structured pathway to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to play competently alongside other golfers at any course. This highly regarded program has earned a reputation for its quality instruction, supportive environment, and comprehensive approach to learning the game.
The program is conducted on Thursdays with two groups, each accommodating a maximum of eight participants. The first group is held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and the second from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. Should these groups reach capacity, a third group may be scheduled on Tuesdays to accommodate additional participants. Each session is two hours in duration and encompasses all fundamental aspects of the game, including technique, effective practice methods, course management and strategy, rules of golf, scoring, and etiquette. Participants are not required to provide their own equipment, as all necessary golf clubs can be supplied for each session.
Upon completion of the program in December, participants are formally recognised during Graduation Day, which includes nine holes of golf alongside Rosebud Country Club members, a celebratory lunch and refreshments, and acknowledgment of each participant’s achievements.
The program extends over 26 weeks, comprising 52 hours of structured group tuition, and participants are granted complimentary access to Rosebud Country Club’s two championship courses during designated times. By combining expert instruction with practical, on-course experience within a supportive and professional environment, the Learn 2 Golf Program ensures that participants complete the course with the competence, understanding, and confidence to enjoy golf across a variety of social and competitive contexts.
