Lessons are conducted by our certified PGA Professional (Advanced Coaching). Our PGA Professional oversees personalized lessons covering various aspects of the game, including:

Utilizing cutting-edge technology, the Rosebud Country Club Golf Academy features state-of-the-art equipment for swing analysis. High-speed USB3 cameras capture your golf swing, which is displayed on high-definition screens for detailed analysis and slow-motion replays. Our FlightScope Doppler radar measures 50+ data parameters, providing insights into distance, strike location, and flight characteristics.

With the addition of SAM Balance Lab, pupils can visualize weight transfer dynamics during their swing, eliminating guesswork and facilitating precise analysis.

Our facilities also include a practice chipping area, putting green, and practice bunker, catering to all skill levels.

Learn 2 Golf (Beginners Program)

Learning golf the right way is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, proper technique ensures efficiency and consistency in your game, leading to improved performance and enjoyment on the course. Additionally, mastering fundamental skills from the outset lays a strong foundation for long-term success and prevents the development of bad habits that can hinder progress. Learning golf correctly also reduces the risk of injury, as proper mechanics help prevent strain on the body. Furthermore, understanding the rules, etiquette, and etiquette of the game fosters respect for the sport and its traditions, promoting a positive and inclusive golfing community. Overall, learning golf the right way sets the stage for a fulfilling and lifelong journey in the sport, whether for recreational enjoyment or competitive endeavours.

Rosebud Country Club conducts its renowned (6 Month) Learn 2 Golf Course annually, catering to individuals new to golf or those with limited experience in the game. This program, facilitated by the Rosebud Country Clubs PGA Teaching Professional, is open to all, regardless of club membership.

Our goal with the Learn 2 Golf Course is to equip participants with the skills and confidence to comfortably play alongside any group of golfers at any golf course.

Sessions run every Thursday from June to late November, offering a comprehensive curriculum over the 26-week period. Each session lasts for 2 hours and covers key aspects such as technique, productive practice techniques, course management, rules, scoring, and etiquette.

No golf clubs? No problem! We can provide equipment for each session at no extra cost.

Upon completion of the course, participants celebrate their achievements during a Graduation Day featuring a round of golf (9 holes), lunch, and plenty of enjoyable moments alongside some of the Rosebud Country Club’s Members.

With exceptional value, the course fee includes 52 hours of group tuition and access to Rosebud Country Club’s two golf courses at no additional charge.

The Learn 2 Golf Course has a rich history of success, fostering lasting friendships among participants who often go on to become active members of Rosebud Country Club. Past graduates have seamlessly integrated into club activities, most of which have obtained handicaps and are now participating in club competitions.

In order to maintain high-quality instruction, we cap each group at a maximum of 8 participants. We offer two sessions, one in the morning at 9:30am-11:30am and another in the afternoon at 12:30pm-2:30pm.

Women’s Golf Lessons

Junior Golf Lessons

Driving Range Closures

Tuesday Afternoons

Please note the driving range is closed Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 – 5:00pm for the RCC junior divots program (School Terms 1, 2  4). It is also closed the first Tuesday of the month from 2:30pm for junior SNAG golf course setup.

Wednesday Afternoons From 3:00pm

Please note the driving range is closed Wednesday afternoons from 3:00pm for maintenance. This time allows staff to chip errant balls out of areas where the machine cannot get to. The range opens again Thursday mornings after the course staff have completed their maintenance. 

Golf Practice Range

Rosebud Country Club is pleased to offer members and visitors a complete golf practice range experience. Take advantage of our large Santa Ana Couch teeing area along with chipping greens, putting greens, and practice bunker. Our facilities provide you the opportunity to work on all aspects of your game prior to taking to the golf course
