Bowls Functions & Events
We are always encouraging new players to take up bowls as a great way to get outdoors and exercise, meet new people and develop new skills. It suits all ages and can be understood and mastered to acceptable levels very quickly so everyone can play together in a friendly manner.
Competition Bowls
Rosebud Country Club Bowls Club competes each year in the Mornington Peninsula Association. We generally field around 64 or more players each summer across both Saturday and Tuesday pennant competitions.
Social Bowls
Our members love their bowls and we organise social matches at least twice a week all year round. Some games are club selected which means anyone can book a game beforehand, or ring up on the day to be placed into a team of 3 or 4. We will typically have some 30 to 40 players enjoy an afternoon of bowls with prizes, raffles and drinks afterwards.
Entry fees for games is $10
Monday Triples
Between November and March, we play nominated triples with the West Rosebud Bowl’s Club, alternating venues weekly. This is great for three friends to organise a team and play together in a very friendly and informal fashion with prizes, raffles and drinks afterwards and lunchtime sausage sizzle. Members from other clubs are most welcome also.
Barefoot Bowls
The bowls section of the Rosebud Country Club is the perfect place for a staff networking session or to entertain clients in beautiful surrounds.
We can organise Barefoot Bowls or regular Bowls, we’ll also provide all the equipment required and allocate a green with some friendly members who can pass on some pointers.
The clubhouse has its own bar and can provide catering if required.
