Potential Future Developments at Rosebud Country Club

The Board of Rosebud Country Club remains open to exploring opportunities to enhance the club’s facilities and services.

Golf Australia recently briefed the Board on trends shaping golf clubs across Australia. Golf participation is evolving, with national data indicating a shift – particularly among the younger demographic and visitors – toward entertainment-based golf formats. 

Golf Australia outlined a concept that could potentially be situated on the Boneo Road land and could include a technology-enabled driving range, a mini golf course and a food and beverage offering. These additions would complement our current facilities, generate additional revenue streams and attract a broader audience, including visitors to the region.

A developer has also approached the Board with a preliminary concept for retirement accommodation on the Boneo Road land. The proposal does not impact the course or involve the sale or lease of any club land. However, at this stage, it lacks sufficient detail for the Board to consider further.

Members will be kept informed as any substantial decisions are made regarding this or other development proposals.
